ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE "R!JTY;ET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1981-82 TO
INCREASE THE APPROPRIATION FOR CAP I'l.'AL IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 79-42 "BAYLANCS BICYCLE/Pi~DESTRIAN PA.TH,"
AND TO PROVIDE FOR RECEIPT OF GR.AN'r' FUNDS FROM 'l'HE
STATE PAR."\S AND RECREATION Df:PARTMENT
WHEREAS, pur2~anl to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 22, 1981,
did adopt a budget fvL fiscal year 1981-82~ and
WHEREAS, Capital Improvement Project No. 79-42 has been estab-
1 i shed for naaylands Bicycle/Pedestrian Path"~ and
WPEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto has previously
authorized application for grant funds and execution of an agreement
with the State of California for building this recreational trail~ and
WHEREAS, Twenty Thousand Do 11 a rs ( $ 20, 000) has been appropriated
for soils and preliminary structural analysis;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as fol lows~

{$380,000) lS appropriated to Capital Impro-.,rernent Proje,~t No. 79-42
"Baylands Bicycle/Pedestriu.n Path," estimated revenue in the Capital
Improvement Fund is increased by Four Hundred Thousan'.} Dollars
($400,000) to t'eflect receipt of grant funds from the State Parks and
Recteation Department and the reserve for capital projects is increased
by Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000).
