ORDINANCE OF THE ClUNCIL O~F~T~H~E~. ~C~I=TY OF PALO ALTO
AM~NDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1981-82 TO
INCREAS8 THE APPROPRJ:A.T!ON f'OR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 80-03 "PATIO AND SIDEWALK REPhiR AT
CULT~RAL CENTER"
WHBREAS, ~ursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Arti
cle III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on
June 22, 1981, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1981-82; and
WHEREAS, Capital Improvement Project No. 80-03 has been es
tablished for "Patio and Sidewalk Repair at Cultural Center;" and
~'iHEREt-.8, the City of Palo Alto wishes to P-liminate tripping
hazards from uneven and worn concrete slabs; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to contract for repair
and construction services~
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The sum of Twenty Two Thousand Five Hundr~d
Dollar::; ($22 1 500) is appropriated to Capital Improvement Proje~t
No. 80-03 "Patio and Sidewalk Repair at Cultural Centern ana the
Reserve far General Contingency is corre3pondingly decreased.
Sf'('TION 2. An envit·onmental assessment has been conductE>d
~nd neg'at1Ve"'"declaration previously adopted.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective inunediately
as provided in Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Sec
tion 2.04.375 of the P&lo Alto Municipal Code.
