The Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, does ordain as follows:
\.JHERE/iS, this Council did, on ,June 22, l98i, adopt its Reso1ution No.
5928 of Intention to Amend Section 12.16.020 of Chapter 12.16 of Title 12 of
the Palo Alto Municipal Code by Establishing Underground Utility District No.
23 in said City and by its Resobtion No. 5939 adopted July 6~ 1981, amended
Snid Resolution No. 5928 to Jppoint ~··:onday 1 the 10th day of August, 1981, at
the hour of 7;30 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hali, 250 Hamilton

3. The "Underground Uti1ity District Map" referred to in said Section
12. 16.020 sha 11 be amended to add the areas shown on the map referred to in
said Resolution No. 5928.
4. This Ordinance shall become eff2cttve upon the expiration of thirty
(30) days from its passage.

The foregoing Ordinance was duly and regularly introduced at a regular
meeting of the Council of the Cit_y of Pa"lo Alto held on the 1.9.J_h day
of August , 1981, and was thereafter at a regular meeting held on
