ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL 0~' THE CITY OF PALO t-\L'TO
AMENDING SECTION 18.08. 040 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPA.L
CODE (THE ZONING MAP) TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF
PROPERTY KNOWN AS ALMA STR~ET PROPERTIES (20 PARCELS
8E'fWEEN KINGSLEY AND COLERIDGE) FROM R-2 TO RM-2
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 18.08.040 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code,
the "Zonlng M"apf" is hereby amendE":d by changing the zon1nq of certain
property known as Alma Street Properties (20 parcels between Kingsley
and Coleridge) from R-2 (Two-famlly Residence District) to RM-2 (Low
Density Multiple-family Resid~nce District) as shown on the map
attached hereto and marked Bxhibit •AA and incorporat~d h~rein by
reference.
SECTION 2. 'rhe Council hereby finds that this change will have
no signiticant adverse environmental impact.
SECTION 3. The Council find.':; that the !.·::.;oning of the <lbove
property is consist.t'nt with the )dc,pted Corq)!:('hL'I1Sl\'f' Flan of the
City of Palo Alto.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall beco~e effective upon the com
m~~ncerrle:'"lt of the t.hirty-·f ~rst rlay after tiw d<ly ot its passag0.
