ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THF. BUDGET FOR THE FISCA[, YRAR 1980-81 TO
PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FliND~-=3 fOR A RENTERS ~~F~RGY CONSERVATION
PROGRAM AND TO PROVIDE FOR RECEIPT OF R8VENUE FROM
THE CALH'ORN!l\ ENERGY EXTENSION SERVICES
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Atticle III
of the Charter 0f the City of Palo lUto, the Council on June 23,
1 9 8 0 did arlopt a hudg et for f i sea 1 year i 980·~81 ~ and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to expand its conserva
tion program to renters; and
WHEREAS, the California r.nerqy Extension Services has made grant
funds availc.ble for this purpose;

ORDAIN as follows:

and P.st i.mated revenue is correspondingly increas0d to reflect ·r:eceipt
of grant funds from the California Energy Extension Services.
SECTION 2. 'l"he Council finds that this project will have no
sign if icanT-a:·fverse environmental impact.
SP.CTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately as
prov ided~Sect ion 1 2 of Article I I 1 of the Charter and Sect ion
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
