ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1980-81 TO
ESTABLISH CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJ~~c·r NO. 80-95 TO PROVIDE
FUNDS FOR REPLAC8ME:NT OF' THE STORES WARF.HOUSF. FURNACE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the prov l:C:tons of Sect ion 12 of Article
III of the Chart.er of the Cj.ty of Palo Alto, the Council on June
23, 1980, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1980-81; and
WHEREAS, the furnace at the Stores Warehouse has increasing 1 y
required repairs and parts replacement since 1914~ and
ltlHERE:AS, key replacement parts are no lonqer available.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Cap.i tal IrnprovemEmt. Project No. 80-95 is hereby
es tabl ished-ror Stores Warehouse ~'untace Repl acernent.
SECTION 2. The sum of Eighteen Thousand Dollar.·s (~~-!8,000) is
appro~riated to Capital Improvement Project No. 80-95, Stores Ware
house Furnace Replacement and the RE:>serve for General Operating
Contingency is cc>rresportd ingly decreased~
SEC'riON 3. 'I'his ordinance shall become effective immediately
as prov1ded--rr1 Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Sectton
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
