ORDINANCE NO. 3274
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMF.:NDING THE BUDGJ:o~T FOR 'l'HE .FISCA.L YEAR 1980-81 TO
PROVIDE FOR FUNDING IN THE PLANNING DIVISION FOR THE
ARASTRA PROPF.:RTY STUDY CONSULTP.1NT SERVICES
WHEREAS, pursuant to the prov1s1ons of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Al t.o, the Counc i 1 of June 23,
1980, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1980-81~ and
WHI<iREAS, the City of Palo Alto has previously authorized the
Arastra Property Study to evaluate various land use options; and
WHEREAS r the City of Palo Alto desires to contract for prepara
tion of the study as specified in the Consultant's work program;
NO'N, THE:HEFORE f t.be Counc i 1 of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The sum of One Htmdred Seven rrhousa.nd One Hundred
Eiqht·y-boffars" ($107~1BO) is appropriated to the Special Studies Sub
program of t.he P 1 ann i ng Divis ion for Proqram and Project Consu 1 t .ing
Services and the Rese~:ve for General Ope:ra t inq Con t ingf~ncy is col:re
spondingly decreased.
SEC'riON 2. An environmental analysis of the design options is
i ncl u"ded--in 'the scope of .services to be p·er: formed by the consu 1 t ant.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately as
provided in Sect i.on 12 of Ar.t i cle I I I of the Charter and Sect ion
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
