TO STANFORD UNI VEHS ITY
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provtsions of Section 12 of Article
III of thE:-Charter of the City of Paio Alto, the Council on June
23, 1980, did adopt a bur'l9et for fiscal year 1980-81~ and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo ~lto and Stanford Universit.y cur
rently contract to provide fire proteC'tion services for Stanford
Uni11ersity; and
WHERF:AS, the SLAC facility at Stanford University desires an
administrativ~:~ officr:?r of the City of ?alo Alto Fire Department t.o

SECTION 3. The Counc i 1 finds that this is not a project for
pur.poses of the Califor;'lia Environmental Quality Act and no envi
ronmental assessment is necessary.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become E'f feet i ve immediately
as provided In Sect ion 12 of A.r· t icle I I I of the Charter and Sect ion
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
