ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION 22.08,230 OF THE PALO ALTO
MllN I C I PAL CODE '.I'O REMOVE A PORTION OF EL CAM !NO PARK
IN ACCORO/\NCg WITH THE NOVEMBER 1979 VOTF:H ADOPTED MEASURE
WHEREAS, the electorate of the City of Palo Alto voted in
November 1979 to rernov€ a small portion of El Camino Park from
dedicated parkland in order to allow renovation and rehabilit.at.ion
of the Veterans' Building; and
WHEREAS, plans for such r.enovat ion are now be for.:e the City
Council for consideration;
NO'V-1, THgREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo .n.lto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 22.08.230 of the Municipal Code is hereby

SE:C'I'ION 2. 'I'he Council of the City of Palo Alto finds that
this is not ·a project under the ter.ms of the Cal iforni.a Environ
mental Quality Act and, therefore, no environmental impact assess
ment is necessary.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall 1.)ecome effective upon the
