Special Meeting
October 24, 2011
The City Council of the City of Palo Alto met on this date in the Council
Conference Room at 6:03 p.m.
Present: Burt, Espinosa, Holman, Klein (arrived 7:03), Price, Scharff,
Schmid, Shepherd, and Yeh
Absent:
1. Interviews of Candidates for the Library Advisory Commission, Architectural Review Board, and Planning and Transportation Commission.
The City Council interviewed three applicants for the Library Advisory
Commission for one unexpired term ending on January 31, 2014, six
candidates for the Architectural Review Board for two terms ending on
September 30, 2014, and eight candidates for the Planning and
Transportation Commission for one term ending on July 31, 2014.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Richard Brand requested a date for a decision to be made regarding the
parking problem in Professorville. Several studies had been completed, a
decision should be made.
Benjamin Linder represented Palo Alto Residents for Responsible Wireless
Communications. The group is concerned about the AT&T Distrubted
Antennea Project. He suggested the City create a full scale wireless plan.
He entered read a petition to the Committee.
