The City Council of the City of Palo Alto met on this date in the Council
Conference Room at 6:00 P.M.
Present: Berman, Holman, Kniss, Price, Schmid, Shepherd
Absent: Burt, Klein, Scharff

Special Orders of the Day
1. Interviews of Candidates for Architectural Review Board, the Historic
Resources Board, and One Candidate for the Planning and Transportation Commission.
The City Council interviewed the following applicants for the Architectural Review
Board:
Kenneth Huo
Qiming Huang
Matthew Harris
Richard Schoelerman
Flore Schmidt
Kyu Young Kim
Catherine Ballantyne
Mark Weiss

FINAL MINUTES
Lee Lippert, Architectural Review Board (ARB) Chair, announced his
retirement and thanked the City Council. He remarked on the commitment
that it took to be an ARB member; serving involved a tremendous time
obligation and time out of one’s personal life. He remarked that Board and
Commission recognition from City Council had diminished.
The City Council interviewed the following applicant for the Planning and
Transportation Commission:
