Special Meeting October 8, 2002 The City Council of the City of Palo Alto met on this date in the Council Conference Room at 6:05 p.m.

ABSENT: Kleinberg HISTORIC RESOURCES BOARD MEMBERS
PRESENT: Bernstein, Bunnenberg, Kohler, Murden ABSENT: Haviland, Makinen, Mario SPECIAL MEETING
1. Joint Dinner Meeting with the Historic Resources Board
a. Introductory Remarks
b. Understanding of Council's 5 Priorities (alternative transportation and traffic calming, long-term finances, land use, affordable housing, and infrastructure/CityWorks) c. Discussion of Past Accomplishments of the HRB
d. Discussion on HRB’s roles and responsibilities e. Effective City Council/HRB Communication f. Update on HRB application process and issues
g. Discussion of Development Project Program for HRB in City Projects
No action required.
