Present In Person: Tanaka (Chair), Lauing, Veenker Present Remotely: Absent: Agenda Items 1. Office of the City Auditor Presentation of the Remote and Flexible Work Study Report MOTION: Council Member Veenker moved, seconded by Chair Tanaka to recommend the City Council: A. Accept the Office of the City Auditor Remote and Flexible Work Study Audit Report, and; B. Request that the City Manager’s Office include in the staff report to Council an analysis of pre-Covid full onsite performance evaluations compared to current Hybrid/Remote work. MOTION PASSED: 3-0 2. Office of the City Auditor Presentation of the Electronic Payment Process and Controls Audit Report MOTION: Council Member Lauing moved, seconded by Council Member Veenker to recommend the City Council accept the Electronic Payment Process and Controls Audit Report. MOTION PASSED: 3-0 3. City Council Referral to Discuss and Recommend Council Protocols on International Travel and other City Council referrals related to the City Council Procedures and Protocols. Page 1 of 2 ACTION MINUTES MOTION: Council Member Tanaka moved, seconded by Council Member Lauing to recommend the City Council the referral for inclusion in the City Council Procedures and Protocols Handbook for International travel the following: A. Pre-approved for travel (Pre-Travel Authorization Request) B. If the travel will advance the City's interest or policy/Council objectives C. Economic benefits required D. Distributed equitably amongst Council Members E. Virtual attendance is not effective F. Visits to any one city will be reasonably spaced G. Consideration of cost/value relationship H. Total budget amount $40K for domestic and international travel I.
