Special Meeting November 9, 2021
The Policy and Services Committee of the City of Palo Alto met on this date
in virtual teleconference at 6:03 P.M.
Present: Kou, Stone, Tanaka
Absent:

1. Office of the City Auditor Presentation of the Construction Project
Controls Report.
MOTION: Chair Kou moved, seconded by Council Member Tanaka to
recommend the City Council accept the Construction Project Controls Report
and corresponding recommendations for improvement.
MOTION PASSED: 3-0
2. Office of the City Auditor Presentation of the Utilities Power Purchase
Agreement Assessment Report.
MOTION: Council Member Stone moved, seconded by Chair Kou to
recommend the City Council review the power purchase agreement
assessment report and corresponding recommendations for improvement and recommend the City Council accept the report.
MOTION PASSED: 2-1, Tanaka no
3. City Council Referral: Policy and Services Committee to Recommend
Strategies to Support and Strengthen Neighborhood Programs,
Identify Gaps in Existing Neighborhood-based Services, and Evaluate
new Strategies as Proposed in the Colleagues' Memo Regarding a
Proposed Program for Neighbor Connection.
This item was continued to a later date to ensure appropriate staff members
are present for the discussion.
