The Stormwater Management Oversight Committee of the City of Palo Alto
met in hybrid teleconference at 1:03 P.M.
Present: Perman, Keller, Mickelson (Chair), Mossar, Bower
Absent: Wenzlua, Owes
Oral Communications
Old Business
1. Approval of Minutes from the August 11, 2022 Stormwater Management
Oversight Committee Meeting.
MOTION: Committee Member Dena Mossar moved, seconded by Committee
Member Marilyn Keller to approve the minutes as presented.
MOTION PASSED: 6-0
New Business
2. Adoption of a Resolution Authorizing Use of Teleconferencing for
Stormwater Management Oversight Committee Meetings During Covid-
19 State of Emergency.
MOTION: Committee Member Dena Mossar moved, seconded by Committee
Member Bob Wenzlau to adopt the resolution.

3. Staff Presentation on Routine Maintenance to Prepare for the Rainy
Season.
a. Staff to send out the Creek Monitoring webpage link.
4. Committee Member Presentation and Discussion on Onboarding
Feedback.
A. Catherine Perman will reach out to Karin North and Megan
Schmiesing with suggested updates to the Stormwater
Management Oversite Committee webpage.
5. Staff Presentation on the New Municipal Regional Stormwater Permit, or
MRP 3.0
A. Marilyn Keller suggested Gunn High School’s parking lot as a
possible location for future GSI projects.
B. Marilyn Keller and Dena Mossar suggested adding more trash
to parks, including pocket parks in Palo Alto, to support trash
reduction efforts.
6. Staff Update on September 17, 2022 Coastal Cleanup Day.
