October 15, 2019
The Finance Committee of the City of Palo Alto met on this date in the
Community Meeting Room at 5:38 P.M.
Present: Cormack, DuBois, Fine
Absent:
Chair DuBois announced the Finance Committee will hear Agenda Item
Number 2 before Agenda Item Number 1.
Action Items
2. Consideration of Revenue Generating Ballot Measure and Potential Recommendation to City Council to Approve Framework and Direct Staff
to Proceed With Stakeholder Outreach and Initial Polling.
MOTION: Council Member Cormack moved, seconded by Chair DuBois to
recommend the City Council approve the framework and direct Staff to begin
stakeholder outreach and conduct initial polling for a potential ballot measure.
MOTION PASSED: 3-0
1. Discussion and Direction to Staff Regarding the Establishment of a
Pension Funding Policy.
MOTION: Chair DuBois moved, seconded by Council Member Cormack to
direct Staff to bring this item to Council as an Action Item.
MOTION PASSED: 3-0
