HONORABLE CITY COUNCIL City of Palo Alto SUBJECT: Interviews of Candidates for the Library Advisory Commission for two unexpired terms ending January 31, 2010 and one unexpired term ending January 31, 2011. Dear Council Members: Seven applications were received for the Library Advisory Commission. Two Applicants, Sara Hart and Marc Marchiel, interviewed on May 6, 2009. By a vote of the Council, interviews have been scheduled in the Council Conference Room on July 14, 2009 at 6:00 pm. One Applicant, Eileen S. Landauer, will not be able to attend the interviews. She is not withdrawing from the application process. I have attached a letter she sent in lieu of an interview. Jatin Parekh has withdrawn his application. The Library Advisory Commission Applicants to be interviewed are as follows:
6:00 Kristina Vetter
6:10 Vibhu Mittal
6:20 Theivanai Palaniappan
